Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging facilitator to lead and support various training sessions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering collaboration and learning among participants. This role is crucial in creating an inclusive environment that encourages participation and maximises the effectiveness of each session. The successful candidate will be required to:
* Deliver our various training programmes in schools/colleges.
* Create or assist with the creation of innovative and high-quality presentations for delivery to school leaders, teachers, learning support assistants and parents.
* Conduct on-going research into the latest approaches within student development, learning & teaching and leadership & management practice in the education sector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

3. Learning, teaching and assessment
4. Self-confidence and resilience
5. Education leadership and management
6. Student peer mentoring
7. Student and staff health and wellbeing
8. Conduct and summarise educational literature research in relation to the above areas.

* Is prepared for early starts and to travel to deliver training courses and programmes.

* Has excellent communication and presentation skills and is able to deliver to different audiences.
* Is creative and imaginative in the development of educational resources, activities and tasks.
* Is proficient in the use of various software applications, especially Microsoft Word, Power Point and Zoom.
* Is able to operate under their own direction and to take initiative.
* Is hard working and committed to their job, understands the importance of completing tasks to a very high standard and working in a professional and inclusive matter.
Selection Criteria
The following criteria will be used for the shortlisting and interviewing. Applicants must meet all the Essential Criteria to be shortlisted. The Desirable criteria will be taken into consideration if more than one potential candidate emerges during the interview process.
Essential criteria
The successful candidate must have:
* A degree or equivalent 3rd level qualification.
* Proven experience of delivering high impact training courses to young people and/or adults.
* Experience in the use of software applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Zoom
* A clear understanding of recent developments within at least one of the following areas: Independent learning and study skills; learning, teaching and assessment; self-confidence and resilience; educational leadership and management; student leadership and peer mentoring; and student and staff health and wellbeing.
* Must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
Desirable criteria
Preference will be given to candidates who:
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification or equivalent.
* Have at least 1 year's teaching experience within a school or educational setting.
* Have experience of creating or assisting with the creation of innovative and high-quality presentations for delivery to students and/or teachers and/or school leaders and/or learning support assistants and/or parents.
