Responsibilities
* Creating and delivering development plans.
* Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
* Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
* People management including delivery of performance reviews, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
* Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
* Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
* Creating succession pathways both up through and across organisation.
* High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
* "go, look, see" issues by visiting the workstation when called upon.
* Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to "100 year fix" in real time.
* Encourages others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects.
* Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
* Looks and encourages others to find "waste" opportunities in everything that we do.
* Management experience within a warehouse environment.
* Leadership skills.
