St Catherine's Hospice is a respected local charity providing specialist hospice care alongside statutory service partners (GPs, District nursing, etc.) across West Sussex and East Surrey.

Main duties of the job
We are seeking an excellent communicator who can work with varied teams to produce multi‑channel content for internal and external audiences.
Executive role will bring:
* Create compelling story‑led content from patients, families, staff, volunteers and supporters
* Identify opportunities for coverage in local, regional and national areas
* Produce high quality written content for multi‑channel use
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging, varied publications
About the role
In this role you will be at the centre of our content creation, helping to uncover, shape and share powerful human‑led stories with your communications colleagues that showcase the impact of St Catherine's Hospice.
Qualifications
* Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
* Marketing or communications qualification (e.g., Chartered Institute of Marketing) is an advantage
* Full driving licence and access to vehicle for business use
Experience
* Extensive PR and communications experience in private or charity sectors
* Copywriting skills for a range of communications outputs
* Experience managing the content, collation and production of an in‑house publication
* Excellent face‑to‑face communication skills with confidence to meet and work with a wide range of people
* Understanding of media outreach
* Skills capturing stories of a wide range of case studies, from interview to final written content
* Ability to demonstrate and model St Catherine's values in all aspects of work
* Experience of working for a charity
* Experience of developing an internal communications strategy
