Job Title: Senior BDR – Education Sector (UK) - Remote (UK)
PLANERGY is a leading Spend Management software provider helping organisations streamline their Purchasing and Accounts Payable processes.
We're expanding our footprint in the UK education sector and are looking for an experienced Senior BDR to drive lead generation and relationship building across Multi-Academy Trusts and Independent Schools.

The Senior Business Development Representative will play a critical role in generating qualified pipeline for PLANERGY's sales team by targeting Finance Directors, CFOs, and Business Managers in Multi-Academy Trusts and Independent Schools.
You’ll be responsible for cold outreach, discovery conversations, and booking demos with senior finance stakeholders. Research and identify target prospects within MATs and Independent Schools across the UK
Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and relevant platforms to drive discovery and book product demos
Engage in intelligent, value-based conversations with senior finance leaders
Educate prospects on PLANERGY’s value proposition in spend control, automation, and financial oversight
Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Marketing to improve messaging, campaigns, and conversion rates
Maintain accurate records in CRM, track KPIs, and report progress weekly
Proven experience in B2B business development or outbound sales, ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or the education sector
Strong understanding of UK education procurement structures—particularly MATs and Independent Schools
Excellent communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior financial stakeholders
Experience selling to finance professionals or within the public sector
Understanding of procurement software, AP automation, or Spend Management
