Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, possess strong caregiving skills, and be able to create a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. This role involves not only supervising children but also supporting their development through various activities and routines.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
* Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
* Maintain cleanliness in the play areas and assist with light household tasks related to childcare.
* Provide first aid when necessary and ensure the safety of children at all times.
* Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing individualized care plans.
* Organize educational and recreational activities, including arts and crafts, reading sessions, and outdoor play.
* Assist with homework and provide tutoring as needed for school-aged children.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
Experience
* Previous experience in childcare settings such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool environments is essential.
* Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and caregiving for children with disabilities is highly valued.
* Skills in meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment are important.
* First aid certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
