Environmental Enforcement Officer - Hounslow - £13 per hour / £27,040 per annum
FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE REQUIRED

Environmental Enforcement Officers enforce local laws to protect the area from littering, dog fouling, and other breaches. You will issue tickets and notices to those who violate these regulations.

Responsibilities:
* Monitor and enforce laws within the area, conduct inquiries, and pursue appropriate actions.
* Handle reports of littering, fly tipping, dog fouling, and similar offences.
* Issue Fixed Penalty Notices for violations where appropriate.
* Prepare cases for court and assist legal proceedings, including attending court as a witness.
* Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution when required.
* Verify the personal details of offenders.
* Build good relationships with key stakeholders and agencies, including the Police.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in enforcement or security work preferred.
* Knowledge of green services such as cleansing and waste collection is desirable.
* Ability to engage with diverse audiences and work as part of a team.
* Capability to handle complaints and resolve complex issues.
* Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
* A full clean UK driving licence.
