The Business Development Manager will be critical in implementing the URSA commercial strategy. This position will maintain accounts and grow sales within the Midland region, working with a combination of existing distributors and merchants while developing relationships with new ones.
What you’ll do:
* Build strong relationships with Distributors and Merchants, helping to nurture and grow the business with these key stakeholders.
* Maintain a portfolio of key accounts and promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers.
* Manage customer inquiries from initial contact through to pricing, securing, and eventually to site.
* Plan journeys and customer calls to achieve optimum use of time.
* Maintain and improve our own industry knowledge to stay ahead of the competition and maximize our sales opportunities.
What you’ll bring:
* Experience in a role with account management responsibilities within the construction market.
* A proven history of personal sales account growth while contributing to overall team success.
* A track record of efficient and profitable account management.
* Self-sufficient & self-motivated, able to work well within a team.
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting and interfacing with clients.
* Proficient in Microsoft packages and CRM systems.
