Project Administrator - Fire Door Installer & Manufacturing Contractor
Location: Erith
Contract: 6 month FTC (with potential to go permanent)
Salary: £27,000 (rising to £30,000 if taken on permanently)

The Role:
Howells is working with a leading fire door manufacturer and installer to recruit a proactive Project Administrator to join their team based near Erith. This role focuses on repairs and maintenance within social housing properties. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting the planning team, and coordinating engineers' schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general administrative support to the branch
Assist the planning team in booking repairs and maintenance into engineers' diaries
Manage correspondence and maintain accurate records
Liaise with clients and internal teams, ensuring excellent customer service
Support multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentEssential Skills & Experience:
Strong administrative experience, ideally within housing, estate management, or a similar sector
Excellent telephone manner and professional approach
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Experience using scheduling or booking systems is desirable
Positive, proactive work ethic and team-oriented mindset
