We are recruiting on behalf of a small animal practice in High Wycombe for a Permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 3 in 7 Saturday mornings. There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.

12. Team: 10 vets, 12 RVNs, 4 SVNs and support staff
The role
13. The role will involve a mixture of consultations, medical work ups and surgeries
14. The role would suit a Vet with a surgical bias.
15. The Vet will be responsible to ensuring that there is excellent communication between themselves and the team and with clients.
16. The role offers flexible work patterns to suit around lifestyle, school runs and school holidays.

19. Busy practice offering a varied and interesting case load
20. Due to the experience within their team they have been able to support a range of experience whether it be their new graduate Vet or their advanced practitioners
21. They have a team of 11 Vets, 9 Nurses 4 SVNs and support staff
22. They are fully equipped with facilities including in house laboratory, bloody typing and microscopy facilities, endoscopy, capnograhy, ultrasound and digital radiography.
23. The practice provides a high standard of care and customer service to all its patients and clients.
24. They encourage Vets to establish strong working relationships with clients therefore they strongly believe in case continuity where possible.
25. They can support areas of special interest which they also believe will benefit the services within the practice.
26. The have visiting specialists including orthopaedic and a cardiologist vet.

About you:
31. The practice are looking for a confident and experienced Vet
32. A Vet with a surgical bias would be advantageous.
33. The Vet will be comfortable both with routine consultations and surgeries
34. They will be a team player, with good interpersonal skills and be able to establish strong working relationships.
35. The vet will have excellent communications skills and a compassionate attitude along with excellent client facing skills.
36. The Vet will always maintain a high standard of clinical care
Package
37. Salary: Up to £70, per annum, commensurate to experience
38. Holidays: 6.6 weeks annual leave, increasing with service and birthday off
39. CPD: Generous allowance of £1, with 5 days to attend
