About the Role
You’ll deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience. The role involves encouraging students to think critically, engage in respectful dialogue, and reflect on ethical and philosophical issues.
Your Responsibilities
Deliver thought-provoking lessons on world religions, ethics, and philosophy
Support students in developing analytical and reflective thinking skills
Promote a respectful and inclusive classroom culture
Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and contribute to the wider school community
Take part in professional development and mentoring, with support available for those working toward QTS
What We’re Looking For
A strong passion for Religious Studies and student development
For ECTs: Completion or near completion of Initial Teacher Training
For unqualified candidates: A solid academic background in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or similar, with a willingness to train
