Job Title: Production Administrator
Location: Skelmersdale
Contract Type: 6-month fixed term contract
Pay Rate: £14.95 per hour

Role Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing organisation in Skelmersdale for an experienced Production Administrator to support the Operations function on a 6-month contract.
Working under the guidance of the Operations Manager, and alongside Production Area Leaders, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administrative operation of the production department. This role would suit an organised and detail-focused administrator with experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
Key Responsibilities as a Production Administrator:
Provide administrative support to the Operations and Production teams.
Assist with production scheduling and planning activities.
Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
Record, compile, retrieve, and analyse operational data.
Support supply requests and materials administration.
Prepare reports and spreadsheets for production and management use.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry across systems.
Work closely with Production Area Leaders to support daily operations.
Skills & Experience Required as a Production Administrator:
Essential:
25 years experience in a Production Administrator, Planning, or similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel spreadsheets .
Comfortable working with numbers and data.
Desirable:
Experience using SAP for basic transactions (training will be provided).
Experience with other ERP systems (training available).
Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
