We have an opportunity for a Team Admin Assistant at our Birmingham depot on a temporary basis (10 months, subject to review). The Team Admin Assistant will report to the Team Manager and provide administrative assistance and coordination to an Operations team. This role supports all team members with daily office tasks and general administration. The role may be closed early if enough suitable applications are received.
Main Responsibilities
* Print utility plans as requested.
* Assist the Planner to request and obtain information for customer set‑ups for various connection agreements.
* Perform land registry searches for non‑complex sites as requested by Wayleaves specialist or planner (information only).
* Raise MPANs from pro‑forma and print delivery files/work packs from IT systems.
* Send chase emails and letters for applications awaiting additional information.
* General filing, archiving, scanning and raising and requesting invoices.
* Update systems with connectivity issues.
* Assist technician with material orders.

* Good understanding of business processes and statutory requirements.
* Strong interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills.
* Enthusiastic team player who can also work independently and show initiative.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
* Experience with a range of IT systems and ability to adapt to new systems quickly.
