We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to deliver end-to-end HR operations across multiple countries. You will act as the first point of contact for operational HR matters, ensuring efficient people processes while enabling HR Business Partners to focus on strategic initiatives.
You will work in a highly matrixed, international environment and must be comfortable operating across different cultures, legal frameworks, and business needs.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
* Manage the full employee lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding)
* Maintain accurate people data in SuccessFactors
* Prepare HR documentation in line with local labour legislation
* Support workforce planning, headcount tracking, and labour cost reporting
* Coordinate payroll inputs with Finance and external providers
* Provide day-to-day HR guidance to managers and employees
* Support recruitment, employee relations, development, and engagement initiatives
* Contribute to global HR projects and process improvements
Requirements
Experience
* Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR operations role
* Proven experience working across multiple countries or international environments (must-have)
* Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management
* Experience working in a matrix organisation
Technical Skills
* Strong experience with HRIS systems, ideally:
o SAP SuccessFactors
o ADP
o Celegro
* If not experienced with the above, must demonstrate strong HRIS capability and adaptability
* Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Knowledge & Competencies
* Strong understanding of local employment laws (NL, UK, or other European markets)
* MUST be based in UK or NL
* High attention to detail and data accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple priorities across countries
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Law, Psychology, or related field
Languages
* Fluent English required
* Dutch is a strong advantage
Preferred
* Experience in multinational or matrix organisations
* Experience supporting transformation or HR operating model changes
* Exposure to automation or process improvement initiatives
