The below job description outlines the position of Marine Civil Engineer
Typically, this person will be responsible for delivering marine civil engineering projects from tender stage through execution and close-out, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality, and commercially successful outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Civil Engineer:
* Lead and contribute to tender submissions, providing engineering, methodology, and costing input.
* Deliver marine and civil engineering projects including quays, jetties, foundations, coastal protection works, and nearshore infrastructure.
* Manage project execution to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
* Coordinate marine operations including vessels, workboats, plant, subcontractors, and logistics.
* Identify and manage operational risks related to tides, metocean conditions, seabed, navigation, and environmental constraints.
* Oversee site activities, reporting, quality control, and compliance with HSE and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and requirements for the Marine Civil Engineer:
* Degree-qualified in Marine, Civil, Coastal, Offshore, or related Engineering discipline.
* Experience delivering marine civil works such as quay walls, jetties, subsea foundations, trenching, or coastal infrastructure.
* Strong understanding of marine construction methods and workboat operations.
* Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and stakeholders across multiple UK sites.
* Willingness to travel within the UK.
