Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for line management of the admin team and assisting the Practice Manager in achieving financial targets. Monitoring recalls and coding will also be essential.
You will act as IT Champion and support the team in training to ensure proficiency.
You will be the contact for maintenance contractors.
You will manage patient feedback collection and analysis to meet population needs.
You will assist in recruiting non-clinical staff and ensure staff training is up to date.
You will support audit work and minute weekly meetings.

Acts as line manager for Reception Manager, Practice Secretary, and Admin Team.
Responsible for maintaining computer systems.
Supports administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Awareness of quality standards for chronic disease management.
Organising premises maintenance.
Managing patient data and feedback.
IT Champion supporting Practice IT systems and maintaining equipment logs.
Supporting Practice in achieving CQC and QOF targets.
Human Resources
Assist in recruiting and interviewing non-clinical staff.
Manage mandatory staff training.
Organisational
Manage premises and coordinate staffing for flu clinics.
Support health campaigns and messaging.
Data Management
Oversee workload related to EDI links.
IM&T
Support staff training on clinical systems and provide first-line technical support.
Maintain equipment logs and act as Smart Card Sponsor.
Ensure Practice website is updated.

Organise staff meetings refreshments and staff leaving collections.
