The Opportunity
Due to our client's continuing success and planned expansion, we are seeking a passionate Chartered Building Surveyor to join a new, dynamic team based in a highly desirable location in Oxford. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a clear pathway for progression to Senior Surveyor and beyond.
Your role will be active, combining time at our client’s scenic Oxford headquarters (set in a unique, prestigious location) with essential travel to client sites across the UK. You will provide technical expertise to key clients with varied national property portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop detailed briefs in collaboration with clients and senior colleagues.
Establish and maintain high-value client relationships, supporting business development activities.
Produce designs and specifications, including the preparation of tender documentation.
Administer JCT building contracts.
Undertake comprehensive professional surveying work, including:
Condition Surveys and Specific Defect Analysis.
Party Wall Consultancy.
Dilapidations and Reinstatement Cost Assessment Valuations.
Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal/external consultants.
Assist the team leader with mentoring and controlling project finances.Experience and Skills Required
You must be MRICS Chartered.
Proven experience advising on large-scale commercial, retail, or educational properties (in either the public or private sector).
Exceptional communication skills and commercial awareness, as you will be a key point of contact for prestigious clients.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Hold a Full UK Driving Licence and possess the willingness to travel extensively within the UK.Your Benefits Package (Client Offer)
