Now, we're looking for a Trade Counter Sales Advisor to join our Tonbridge team and help us take the next step in our growth journey.
What You'll Be Doing
* Welcoming and serving trade customers at the counter and on the phone
* Giving knowledgeable advice on plumbing & heating products, spares, and solutions
* Building relationships with local installers to keep them coming back
* Accurately processing orders, quotations, returns, and account sales
* Helping manage stock: picking, packing, and receiving deliveries
* Spotting opportunities to upsell and cross-sell so customers get everything they need
* Keeping the trade counter tidy, professional, and well-merchandised
* Working as part of a small, dedicated team that wants to grow
Who We're Looking For
* Experience in a plumbing & heating merchant, trade counter, or builders' merchant is an advantage
* Strong product knowledge (plumbing, heating, bathrooms, spares) or a willingness to learn fast
* A people-person with excellent customer service skills — friendly, approachable, and reliable
* A proactive mindset — someone who spots what needs doing and gets stuck in
* IT-literate, organised, and able to work accurately under pressure
* Target-driven, with a passion for helping a business grow
* Flexible team player who takes pride in delivering great service
