Managing utility billing process for private clients and liaison with both energy users and client representatives. We manage utilities (electricity, gas, water and heat networks) for a range of private and public clients. Based in Glasgow we are seeking a new member of our billing management team. You will be managing the collection of meter readings from multiple UK sites including data collection from smart metering and collation of manual meter readings by field operatives. You will be processing meter readings through our bespoke billing management software and issuing final bill calculations to clients. You will be handling billing queries from energy users. Some key aspects of role: • The candidate must have a high level of competence on excel spreadsheets. • Be familiar with data management on a computer network. • Excellent numeracy skills. • Good planning and time management skills. • Good communication skills (able to construct competent emails and a good telephone manner) • Ability to work with database programs (we use bespoke systems that you would be trained on) You will be working to time deadlines each month throughout the billing cycles and when tenders come up for renewal. You will should be organised in your approach to your work.
