The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in Banbury. This role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality commercial disputes and the chance to work within a collaborative and forward-thinking dispute resolution team.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, debt recovery, professional negligence, and general commercial disputes
* Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies, including litigation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution
* Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation
* Conducting legal research and providing clear, practical advice to clients
* Representing clients in negotiations and assisting with court proceedings
* Supporting business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2–6 years’ PQE (flexible depending on experience)
* Strong experience in commercial litigation matters
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
* Ability to manage a caseload independently while working effectively within a team
* Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
