3548 - Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical Engineering - SVQ Assessors - Permanent, 35 hrs per week. Salary Grade 5: £36,705 - £39,828 per annum (pro rata).

Responsibilities
* Assess SVQ qualifications in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical Engineering on a permanent basis.
* Assess candidates against National Occupational Standards at Level 3.
* Develop candidates and support their progression, ensuring learning is aligned with industry standards.
* Prioritise work, meet deadlines, and work with little supervision; be proactive, flexible, and committed to CPD and student success.
* Utilise occupational knowledge and practical experience to teach best practice both theoretically and practically to industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Relevant qualifications in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Electrical Engineering.
* Broad, demonstrable experience in related disciplines.
* A relevant assessor/verifier qualification (D32/33 or A1) would be desirable, or a willingness to undertake this within the first six months of appointment.
* Strong knowledge of the subject area with up-to-date CPD.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills; ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of candidates and employers.
* Flexible daily working hours across the week to meet with candidates in workplace, college, and placements.
