Overview
An established firm of Accountants in the local area need a Payroll Clerk to support the management and production of client payrolls.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with preparing payrolls on behalf of a wide range of small business clients
* Ensuring that fortnightly and monthly payroll files are received on time from clients
* Accurately logging new starter details onto the payroll system and processing leavers
* Processing ad hoc payroll paperwork ie: Attachment of Earnings, fines and Company loans
* Administering statutory deductions including sick payments, maternity pay and paternity pay
* Ensuring the timely processing of payrolls and issuing wage payslips and managing payment queries
