Performance Objectives
* Inspection of parts to drawings, jigs & fixtures, lofts etc. and reporting of results (First Article reports, inspection reports etc).
* Using measuring equipment such as a CMM, callipers, micrometres, height gauges, radius gauges, thickness checking gauges etc.
* Checking paperwork for compliance (e.g. route card sign-off, subcontract paperwork etc)
* Knowledge & compliance to quality procedures
* Administration of non-conforming parts using established company systems and procedures.
* Work in accordance with production & QC priorities, instructions and workloads
* Ensure Inspection equipment is fully functional and within calibration.
* Notification of anything not meeting requirements.
* Use of Microsoft office and Aventa to generate relevant paperwork and records.
* Maintain good housekeeping of drawings, specifications, records equipment and work area.
* Compliance to Health and Safety / Environmental requirements and procedures.
Person Specification
* A-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths;
* Health & Safety Training.
* Experienced in inspection protocols
* Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships
* Good time management and organisational skills.
Desirable
* Audit trained
* Experience in and Inspection and Aerospace Industry
* CMM
* IT proficiency with the ability to input and retrieve data
