1st / 2nd Line Support EngineerLocation: AldershotSalary: £25,000-£28,000 per annumOur client, a well-established MSP based near Aldershot, is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team.Supporting a diverse client base across the Education sector and local SMEs, this role offers excellent variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work across multiple technologies and environments.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically capable engineer who enjoys working in a client-facing MSP environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver IT support to a variety of clientsProvide both remote and onsite troubleshooting and fault resolutionInstall, configure and maintain Windows desktops, servers and applicationsAdminister and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, user provisioning and permissionsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software and basic network issuesMaintain accurate documentation and update ticketing systemsEnsure support tickets are managed in line with agreed SLAsCommunicate effectively with clients, providing clear updates and managing expectationsAssist with project work including migrations, upgrades and new deploymentsRequired Skills & Experience1+ years' experience in an IT support role (MSP experience highly desirable)Strong knowledge of:Windows 10/11Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)Active Directory & Group PolicyMicrosoft 365 administrationGood understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware and peripheralsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to prioritise workload and manage multiple support requestsFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
