Job Title: Experienced School Receptionist (temp role, likely to extend)
Location: Bradford, BD9 6AL
Dates: Monday 20th October 2025 – Friday 24th October 2025
Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
A lovely team in a secondary school is seeking an experienced School Receptionist to join our team on a short-term basis to provide essential support at our busy school reception.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a busy school reception desk, answering calls from parents, staff, SLT, and external stakeholders.
* Provide accurate information and direct calls to the appropriate members of staff.
* Monitor and oversee children and staff entering and leaving the school premises, ensuring all safeguarding processes are strictly followed.
* Support with general administrative duties such as typing, filing, creating reports, photocopying, and taking notes when required.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience working on a school reception desk.
* Strong knowledge and experience using school management systems.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment.
* A commitment to maintaining safeguarding standards.
