Designated Safeguarding Lead
Part-time or full-time | Term-time + 20 days
Queen’s College is seeking an experienced, proactive Designated Safeguarding Lead to take strategic responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school.
In this pivotal role, you’ll:
* Lead safeguarding practice, early help, referrals and multi‑agency work
* Support staff with expert guidance, training and case advice
* Oversee online safety, covering the 4 Cs (Content, Contact, Conduct, Commerce), plus misinformation, disinformation and digital risk
* Monitor attendance as a key safeguarding indicator
* Ensure CPOMS is used effectively, with accurate, confidential records
* Shape policy, deliver training, and promote a strong, child‑centred safeguarding culture
* Build trusted relationships with pupils, families, staff and external partners
* Support safe digital practice, including the use of AI across the College
