Job Summary

Duties
* Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to specified recipes and standards
* Support the cooking process, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to high quality standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces
* Follow food safety regulations and hygiene procedures at all times
* Help with inventory management, including stock rotation and storage of ingredients
* Support serving staff during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals to customers
* Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and professional environment within the kitchen
* Assist with special event catering or menu planning as required
Qualifications
* Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related role is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are equally valued
* Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
* Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous
* Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
