The current Counselling programmes at Kingston College sit within the Wellbeing Section as part of the Commercial Industries and Access School. This includes a BA (Hons) Integrative Relational Counselling degree, a Mental Health degree and study programme, as well as part-time adult courses at Levels 2 and 3, and a Level 4 Diploma. Our introductory courses are currently accredited by NCFE (Level 3) and CPCAB (Level 2). The Counselling degree programme holds prestigious BACP accreditation and is validated by Middlesex University.
Were now seeking a Sessional Lecturer in Counselling to teach on the Level 4 adult part-time daytime courses (Tuesdays and/or Thursdays), with the potential to contribute to other Counselling programmes.
Our ideal candidate will hold a professional qualification in Integrative Relational Counselling or Psychotherapy (minimum Level 6 Diploma or Honours degree). Youll be a registered member of BACP, UKCP or an equivalent UK professional body, with at least three years post-qualification experience and accreditation (or a willingness to work towards this).
