🕒 Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8am–1pm)
💰 Salary: £28,000 – £33,000
The Opportunity
We are representing a modern, independent small animal practice in Sandy, Hertfordshire, who are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their supportive and friendly team. Final-year Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) will also be considered.
This newly established practice is founded on compassion, continuity of care, and teamwork, offering a welcoming environment for both staff and clients. With a growing caseload, this is an excellent opportunity to make your mark within a developing practice.
What You’ll Do
* Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient nursing care
* Support vets with anaesthesia, surgery, and consultations
* Provide excellent client communication and education
* Assist with organisation of the practice and mentoring junior staff
* Join the Saturday morning rota (no OOH or on-call)
About You
* RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse (or final-year SVN)
* Confident across all aspects of general nursing and patient care
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Flexible to work full-time or part-time hours
