Job Description:
Purpose:
The role holder will support the reset of the fundamentals of SRM in one of the Public Sector Defence Area, promoting a back to basics approach including good contract management and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) implementation.
They will drive forward Public Sector Client and Part of Defence policies, collaboratively working with Public Sector Defence Key Suppliers and Public Sector Client Representatives to reduce risk, reduce costs, improve delivery and performance, harness innovation and add social value within the part of Defence aligned Commercial portfolio.
You will develop effective relationships with the supply base to enable total oversight and to proactively report industry insights and supplier health within that base.
