Manufacturing Team Leader (2 Week Rotating Shift) Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Shift Pattern: 2-week rotating shift pattern (MonThurs, Days & Nights) Our client, a manufacturing company based in north Down is seeking an experienced Extrusion Team Leader to join their production team. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising staff, coordinating daily production activities, and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities in brief: Lead and supervise a team within the extrusion department Ensure production meets required quality standards and customer specifications Coordinate daily activities including labour, materials, and machine utilisation Maintain health & safety and housekeeping standards Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives Assist with training and development of extrusion operators Ensure production documentation and system records are completed accurately Liaise with scheduling and purchasing to ensure material availability The ideal candidate: GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) At least 2 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Experience working within a production environment and to production schedules Computer literate, including Excel Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures in a manufacturing environment Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills Supervisory or Lean/Yellow Belt qualification Knowledge of ISO9001 Experience in plastics extrusion Additional Information Overtime may be required Flexibility to change shifts may be required Please email a comprehensive CV, which clearly demonstrates how you meet the above criteria together with your remuneration expectations via the link here.
