The successful applicant will: Ensure all minor repairs and audit requirements are fixed i n a timely manner. Guarantee adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements and to the c ompany policies and procedures. Carry out all required tests and checks for various systems of the home on weekly, monthly, annual basis. Be r esponsible for the looking after of the Care Home and carry out planned maintenance of the Home (painting, plumbing, minor refurbishment s, etc ) and able to assemble or install new equipment delivered to the Home. Be responsible for the maintenance of the home’s surrounding grounds (make sure p athways and driveways are uncluttered open and safe, p lants of every type are tendered and hydrated) Make certain that light s and signs, internal and external, are in good shape, clear and evident. Liaise with contractors ensuring all work undertaken complies with site Health and Safety rules. Create and adhere to budgets. Carry out critical checks identifying and reporting all maintenance defects and problems. Confirm and maintain the operability of heating, lighting, plumbing and al l non-medical equipment required for the safe and efficient operation of the Home.
