We’re seeking an Automation Engineer who excels at turning complex operational workflows into secure, scalable, and dependable automated solutions.
In this position, you’ll work closely with product stakeholders, gain a deep understanding of end‑to‑end processes, and design automation that delivers consistent, high‑quality performance at scale.
⭐ Responsibilities
1. Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of automation, from testing through to implementation
2. Partner with product and engineering teams to assess workflows and identify automation opportunities
3. Architect and implement robust, high‑performance automation solutions
4. Apply security‑by‑default practices across all automation work
5. Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise automated workflows for reliability and scalability
6. Champion strong documentation standards and contribute to a culture of quality and ownership
🔧 Requirements
7. Hands‑on experience delivering Ansible‑based automation.
8. Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar
9. Previous exposure to working with global teams
10. experience working in Agile environments
Arrangement: This role will be hybrid, 3 days per week on site in York
