EOC Clinical Education Developer

We are looking for an Education Developer to provide professional education, training and learning opportunities for both clinical and non-clinical colleagues within the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).
Main responsibilities
- Deliver the Trust's learning and development agenda in line with the agreed workforce and business plan.
- Support clinical audit activities as required.
- Provide training, development and assessment for clinical staff to meet professional standards set by JRCALC guidelines, awarding organisations and local protocols, including HCPC & NMC.
- Provide statutory and mandatory training for all members of EOC.
- Supply specialist educational support to EOC Clinical Hub team members to improve learning dissemination and facilitate continuing professional development.
- Work in partnership with clinical governance and managerial colleagues to provide assessment and mentoring opportunities that enhance patient care and clinical outcomes.

Person Specification
- Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Portfolio of CPD evidence demonstrating commitment to personal development.
- HCPC registered paramedic or state registered nurse.
- Minimum of 2 years operational experience as a paramedic or nurse.
- Knowledge and experience of telephone and video consultations.
- High standard IT skills, including MS Office 365 and MS Teams.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
- Knowledge of higher education career pathways.
- Experience with computer‑aided dispatch systems or NHS Pathways or PaCCS software.

Location and Employment Details
- Locations: EOC – Nottingham and Lincoln (travel to both).
- Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 a year (NHS Section 2 AFC).
- Contract: Permanent.
