We are seeking a reliable and proactive Design & Technology Technician to support our busy and creative Technology department in Slough. This role spans Food Technology, Textiles, and Design Technology, providing essential technical and practical support to staff and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons.
- Support teaching staff across Food Technology, Textiles, and Design Technology.
- Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and organising storage areas.
- Provide in-class technical support where required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a technical or workshop environment (education setting desirable).
- Knowledge of health and safety practices within a practical subject environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
