Fabric Engineer\nVictoria, London\n£37,000 - £39,000\n\n We are working with a leading building services provider to recruit a Fabric Engineer for a high-end residential development near Victoria, London. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and well-structured 12-person engineering team, responsible for maintaining the communal areas of some of the most prestigious homes in the city.\n\n This is a Monday to Friday (8am – 5pm) role, focused on delivering high standards of reactive maintenance and fabric repair across the estate. While residents are high profile, the role will be focused on the common ways, not within individual apartments.\n\n Responsibilities: \nCarry out reactive fabric maintenance across communal areas including corridors, entrance ways, stairwells, and shared facilities \nTypical tasks include: \nRepairing and adjusting door closures and locks \nFixing architrave and ceiling hatches \nPainting and decorating \nMaintaining fire doors and fitting fire safety signage \nGeneral fabric related tasks \nEnsure all work is completed to a high standard, maintaining the premium look and feel of the building \nWork collaboratively with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth site operations \nDeliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on site Requirements: \nProven experience as a Fabric Engineer, Handyperson, or Maintenance Technician \nConfident with a range of building fabric repairs: carpentry, painting, decorating, and minor general repairs \nProfessional appearance and strong communication skills – essential due to the high-end environment \nAbility to work independently and manage reactive tasks efficiently \nAwareness of fire safety practices is an advantage Package: \n£37,000 - £39,000 annual salary \nMonday to Friday, 8am – 5pm \n25 days holiday + bank holidays \nPension scheme \nLong-term career progression opportunities \nStable role within a professional, well-respected team If you take pride in your work and want to be part of a supportive engineering team within a premium residential setting, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nPlease apply using the link below or contact Ben Butt directly
