Are you skilled in vertical video production and adept at transforming ideas into engaging content? We are partnering with a leading publishing house seeking a motivated and creative Video Producer for a 12-month contract. This role involves creating vertical videos that appeal to social audiences on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. If you are proactive, hands-on, and entrepreneurial, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
* Ideate, produce, and edit original social videos, adapting journalistic content into compelling video scripts.
* Collaborate with writers and editors, guiding them on translating their work into video content.
* Coordinate with global newsrooms and editorial teams on programming strategies to grow audiences.
* Utilize audience data and KPIs to enhance vertical video strategies.
* Oversee pre- and post-production processes, including scheduling and budgeting.
Qualifications:
* Over 3 years of experience in vertical video production, particularly in news settings.
* Proficiency in videography, animation, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
* A portfolio showcasing end-to-end digital video projects that achieved significant organic engagement.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with proactive problem-solving skills and infrastructure development experience.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work under pressure.
