Construction Solicitor – Leeds
I am currently working with a highly regarded Leeds based firm that is looking to grow its Construction team with the addition of two non-contentious lawyers. This is a great opportunity to join a busy, well established team handling high quality regional and national work.
The Opportunity
You will join a nationally recognised Construction and Engineering team, advising on a broad range of non-contentious matters across a variety of sectors. The work is genuinely diverse, spanning projects for developers, contractors, housebuilders and major commercial clients.
This is a strong platform for someone looking to develop their technical expertise while also building client relationships and getting involved in business development from an early stage.
The Role
You will work alongside experienced fee earners on a range of matters, including:
* Drafting and negotiating construction documentation
* Advising on development projects across multiple sectors
* Supporting clients on day to day construction queries
* Working closely with other teams, particularly Commercial Property
* Building relationships with clients and contributing to business developmentSupporting and mentoring more junior team members (for more senior candidates)

The team has an excellent reputation in the market and is involved in projects of real regional and national significance. Clients operate across sectors including retail, logistics, manufacturing, education, healthcare and sport.
There is a strong collaborative culture internally, with plenty of cross team working and a real emphasis on building long term client relationships.
About You
* UK qualified Solicitor with experience in non-contentious construction work
* Solid grounding in construction law and documentation
* Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
* Commercial, proactive and solutions focused
* Keen to get involved in business development and grow a network
