Your new role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Practice Accountant for our Client who is located in Leicester. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee financial accounts preparation and management for a diverse portfolio of clients, which may include sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Responsibilities include tax computations, VAT returns, bookkeeping, payroll, and liaising with clients to deliver sound financial advice. Additional duties involve supporting audits, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in financial accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and payroll management
* Experience with tax computations, VAT returns, and compliance
* Excellent proficiency in accounting software and tools
* High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Effective communication and client relationship management skills
* Proven ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification or equivalent experience
* Prior experience working in an accountancy practice is advantageous
