We’re looking for someone with great people skills, who loves to inspire and delight by providing top-quality experiences for visitors, to join us as a Senior Visitor Experience Officer at Hughenden Manor This role supports the property in making sure everything runs smoothly in what is a complex and lively visitor business. This role will include weekend and bank holiday working. What it's like to work here The country home of Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli. Hughenden Manor is situated a short distance from High Wycombe and local transport links are excellent. Perched on a hilltop, the country home delivers historic vistas of the surrounding woodland and valleys that come into their own. Its tree-filled pleasure gardens are a mosaic of colour, with the rich golds and reds of the beech trees contrasting to the lush evergreens. Click here for more information about this location The role will based at predominatly based at Hughenden Manor, with the occasional working at West Wycombe Park. What you'll be doing This role will be responsible for ensure a high standard of presentation and service at Hughenden, as well as managing the Visitor Welcome team. This role will sit on the leadership team working colloaboratively will collegues to ensure the smooth daily running of Hughenden Manor. You’ll work alongside colleagues in the Welcome team to make sure everyone who visits has everything they need to enjoy their day. You'll carry out duty management as needed, and will work weekends on a rota basis. Sometimes you may need to get stuck in and help wherever you’re needed, to keep the whole place running smoothly. In your application, please provide details of how you meet the minimum criteria below: Knowledge of audience engagement and inclusive programming in heritage or cultural settings Strong leadership and team co-ordination skills Ability to respond to operational challenges with agility and professionalism.
