Lecturer in Electromechanical Engineering

* Contract: Perm / 3 days a week - 18 hours
* Salary: £16,000 - £23,000 plus package
Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and skilled individual to join our successful Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering School in west london as a Part-time Lecturer in Electromechanical Engineering. Preferred working days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesday mornings until 1pm (with some flexibility).

The Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering department equips learners with the essential knowledge and skills demanded by today's engineering industry. Their programmes provide a strong foundation for progression, whether into careers within the engineering sector, apprenticeships, or further study in Higher Education.
About the Role
You will be teaching across a diverse range of Engineering programmes from Level 1 to Level 5, giving learners the opportunity to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the industry. This includes EAL / City & Guilds qualifications, which provide essential entry-level skills and technical training; BTEC Foundation, Diplomas and Extended Diplomas, which support learners in building solid academic and vocational foundations; T Levels, which combine classroom learning with industry placements to prepare students for the workplace; and Higher National Certificates (HNCs) and Higher National Diplomas (HNDs), which offer advanced study and clear progression routes into university or higher-level employment.
Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated professional with:
* A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, providing the subject knowledge required to teach across a broad range of courses.
* Teaching or training experience - if you do not already hold a recognised Level 5 FE teaching qualification, support will be provided to help you achieve this.
* Industry experience within the engineering sector (desirable), to bring practical insights and real-world applications into the classroom.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire, engage and motivate learners, particularly those aged 16-19, to achieve their full potential.
