Job Purpose
A key role to ensure business requirements are analysed and captured through the project lifecycle. Accountable for stakeholder management, requirement gathering and documenting functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Cultivating an open, friendly, and approachable area for our internal customers to approach with ideas, issues and challenges.
* Participating in regular stand-ups, contributing progress of analysis activities.
* Supporting the Development team with any queries arising from Functional Specifications.
* Working with Support Analyst and Developers to investigate and resolve user issues.
* Developing effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and end users to ensure involvement, engagement and buy-in.
* Gathering, identifying, and documenting business requirements using a variety of proven business analysis methodologies.
* Working effectively with internal and third-party providers to scope, implement, test, and deploy solutions to business problems.
* Assisting in the preparation and delivery of training and reference material on new processes and software systems.
* Assisting in the post go-live support of various Slingshot systems.
* Project Managing CAPEX work from conception to completion.
Skills & Qualifications
* Essential:
* Experience of Business Analysis and Design methodologies e.g.: UML, BPMN, etc.
* Working knowledge of AGILE methodology.
* Desirable: Additional skills or qualifications that are preferred but not essential.
* Previous Oil and Gas industry experience

Work Environment/Conditions
* Office Base: Corporate headquarters, Albyn Place – may require travel to other locations in Aberdeen to support information gathering sessions.
* Full-Time: 37.5-hours per week
