Responsibilities
* Provide care and support to residents in line with their individual needs and care plans.
* Assist with personal care and daily living activities as required.
* Support residents with limited mobility and help maintain dignity and comfort.
* Offer emotional support to residents who are distressed or confused.
* Engage in general activities within the care home to promote well‑being and quality of life.
* Demonstrate care and compassion, maintain excellent interpersonal relations, and work collaboratively with the team.
* Keep residents safe, calm, and well‑supported, especially in times of crisis.
Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate care and compassion to those we support.
* Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work well in a team.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure or in times of crisis.
* Warm, empathetic manner with the desire to provide high‑quality care and go the extra mile.
Full‑time 12‑hour day shifts, 3 or 4 days per week, including alternate weekends.
