Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Duties
* Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
* Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
* Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow effectively.
* Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in financial reporting.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
* Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
