We are currently on the lookoutfor an attentive, adaptable and efficient Production Assistant to join one of the world's leading paper manufacturers.
As a Production Assistant at Sofidel UK's Rothley site, you will play a vital hands-on role in supporting our manufacturing operations and upholding the exceptional standards that define us. This position is ideal for a hardworking individual with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient working environment. You will be responsible for staying on top of housekeeping duties across the production area, ensuring equipment and workspaces are clean, orderly, and compliant with company standards. By proactively identifying and addressing issues, you will help maintain smooth operations while reinforcing our commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities
To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
To pick up and press waste paper and polyethylene
To check powder filter if needed
To check automatic press machine
To support the colleagues in case of need
To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
Skills And Requirements
Experience working as part of a team
Good communication skills
WORKING HOURS
You will work an average of 42 hours per week on a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, comprising 2 days (06:00–18:00), 2 nights (18:00–06:00), and 4 days off. This schedule is designed to help you maintain a healthy work/life balance while providing consistent support to our production operations.
