Support Worker – Permanent Role
Salary: From £24,800.00 per annum

Hours: Full-time, permanent
I am working with a valued client who is looking to appoint a Support Worker to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference, supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, promoting independence, and ensuring safe, high-quality housing services.
The Role
As a Support Worker, you will:
Work closely with individuals to identify and manage their support needs.
Support tenants with current or past drug and alcohol dependency.
Provide assistance with daily living, including budgeting, attending appointments, and engaging with external services.
Safeguard individuals, following relevant procedures and raising concerns appropriately.
Liaise with external professionals regarding tenants’ changing needs.
Inspect and maintain properties, ensuring repairs, decorations, and health & safety checks are carried out.
Promote safe and clean use of communal and private areas.
Support with tenancy issues such as neighbour disputes, harassment, or security, working with third-party agencies where required.
Complete paperwork and reports to monitor individual progress.
Participate in team meetings, training, and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Work in a professional, person-centred manner at all times.What We’re Looking For

Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
IT literacy and good numeracy skills.

The ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism.Previous experience in supported housing or similar environments is desirable, though not essential for the right person with the right values.
