We are currently recruiting for a Reservationist to join our Reservations Team at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort.
The ideal candidate will offer a high standard of customer services, an individual who is passionate about exceeding our customer's needs and who can work well in a small team.
Old Thorns is a luxury four star resort in Hampshire. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and only 30 minutes from Guildford and Portsmouth. Old Thorns offers luxury accommodation of 143 rooms and 51 Apartments, conference & function facilities, health club, beauty spa, restaurants & bars and a championship golf course.
Main Responsibilities:
* To handle customer enquiries for hotel reservations, advising guests of rates and availability, offering upsells and giving general hotel information and advice.
* Maintain complete knowledge of all guest room layouts, bed types, décor, appointments, and locations, restricted dates, rates and room types and availability.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of our hotel products, services and promotions in order to advise guests on the best options available for them.
* To co-ordinate all individual reservations and group accommodation and ensure maximum profit at all times.
* To follow up on all enquiries as per the company procedure for provisional bookings.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Good telephone manner and ability to multitask.
* Be proactive and anticipate guest needs, and ensure that all steps are taken to secure a reservation in accordance with Company standards.
* Previous experience of working with Opera is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
