We are seeking a Trustee with finance experience to help us improve our governance as a Board. Our charity is growing annually and needs a Treasurer to support this development.

* Finance professionals who can clearly explain financial matters, especially to those without finance expertise, including people with learning disabilities.

What will you be doing?
Our Board is unique because it includes individuals with and without learning disabilities. We value diverse gifts and skills. Prior experience in a Board or governance role is not required; training will be provided. The Treasurer will advise and support the Board and staff in areas such as:
1. Budgets and Financial Reports
2. Financial Records and Practices
3. Financial Policies
4. Financial Health of the Charity
5. Working with Finance Staff and Accountants
6. Strategic Planning and Risk Management
7. External Auditors
8. Legal Financial Duties
9. Supporting the Board of Trustees
