Keplin Group is looking for an experienced Building & Security Manager to take ownership of the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our building and surrounding areas. This is a key role that blends facilities management with physical security oversight, ensuring our site runs smoothly and provides a high-quality environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
Building Operations & Maintenance
• Oversee day-to-day building operations and system performance
• Manage PPM schedules and reactive repairs
• Conduct regular building inspections and resolve issues promptly
• Coordinate lift servicing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing & general upkeep
• Ensure grounds, external areas and car parks remain clean and safe
• Support and guide Front of House staff alongside the Operations Manager
Security Management
• Oversee on-site security staff (internal or contracted)
• Ensure access control, ID badges, visitor passes & CCTV systems function effectively
• Respond to security incidents, alarms and escalations
• Lead security risk assessments and implement improvements
• Ensure full compliance with security policies and standards
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all building regulations and H&S legislation
• Maintain audit-ready records: fire logs, lift inspections, contractor permits etc.
• Lead fire drills, evacuations and emergency preparedness activities
• Coordinate with fire wardens, first aiders & emergency teams
• Oversee annual PAT testing and review risk assessments
Vendor & Contractor Management
• Manage external service providers across cleaning, security, maintenance, landscaping & lifts
• Monitor performance against KPIs and service-level agreements
• Schedule contractor attendance and supervise on-site work
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
Car Parking & External Areas
• Manage parking permits and allocation processes
• Ensure safe, compliant and accessible outdoor areas and pathways
• Maintain signage, cleanliness and safety standards
Stakeholder & Internal Relations
• Act as the main contact for building users, employees and vendors
• Communicate building updates, planned works and operational issues
• Build strong relationships with HR, IT, Legal, Finance and other departments
📌 What We’re Looking For
Essential:
âś“ Experience in facilities management, building operations or security management
âś“ Strong understanding of building compliance, H&S regulations & security systems
âś“ Confident leader with excellent communication skills
âś“ Skilled in contractor management, budgeting & multitasking
âś“ Calm under pressure and effective in incident response
âś“ Proficient with FM software, access control systems & Microsoft Office
Desirable:
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification
• Experience managing commercial or corporate buildings
• Fire marshal, first aid or emergency response training
• IWFM membership or equivalent
