Overview
We are looking for someone who knows how to make a house a home. We are expanding and have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and determined Children’s Home Registered Managers. This role will lead and inspire your own team to ensure that the children living in the home receive outstanding care, have good role models, and a safe place to call home. A £5,000 relocation bonus is available for those willing to move to take up this role. The base salary is £47,500 - £55,000, with the opportunity to earn up to £18,000 in annual bonuses, paid quarterly. Bonus eligibility is based on home occupancy and achieving a “Good” or “Outstanding” Ofsted rating.
Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the home team to provide outstanding care for children.
* Ensure a safe, supportive, and home-like environment for residents.
* Oversee operations, compliance, and performance to meet regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with professionals to support the children’s development and wellbeing.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a role relevant to residential care of children.
* At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff.
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People\'s Workforce.
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
* Recent Ofsted inspection grade of “Good” or “Outstanding.”
