A Basildon based company who design and manufacture production line equipment are keen to recruit an Technical Author / Validation Engineer to work as part of their documentation department.
The role will involve supporting Project Managers and Engineering Technicians on a variety of tasks including performing tests on machines to support the verification process and going on to produce all technical documentation required.

Duties:
6. Carry out testing on machinery within the factory
7. Report tests results and provide feedback
8. Assist in the review and update of equipment design
9. Produce specification and qualification documentation
10. Liaising with all departments during the equipment build process
11. Prepare equipment Operator and Technical Manuals in line with relevant machinery
12. standards and essential health and safety requirements for UKCA/CE marking, functional safety, ATEX certification
13. Liaise with supplies and customers validation departments
14. Long term you will be able to conduct site acceptance tests at customer sites
Requirements:
15. Candidates must be a HNC trained engineering apprentice or be an engineering graduate
16. Must have some previous experience gained within an engineering environment
17. Previous test and validation experience would be preferable
18. Experience of Technical Authoring would be a benefit
19. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
